Despite the good weather and soil in Kenya, we continue to remain a food insecure country. Year in year out, we keep importing maize to feed starving citizens.
The main reason behind this sad reality is the methods we use to produce our food. The fact that most land is under small scale farming means that many cannot afford confiscated equipment, and will thus continue to underproduce.

We can only hope the expensive foreign trips taken by MCAs are not for nothing.
